VisionHunt runs on the popular Nokia range of Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition Smartphones, These mobile phones are extremely popular with blind and visually impaired users as these were the first phones on the market to run assistive technology such as text-to-speech and screen magnification software.
Colour Recognition Tool: VisionHunt can identify the dominant colours on an object, surface or other material. Simply run the “Find Colour” command. As long as you have placed the phone on top of the object so that the phone’s main camera is facing the object with a slight angle, in a fraction of a second, VisionHunt will prompt its result.
Euro Note Identification Tool : VisionHunt can identify Euro bank notes. Simply run the “Find Euro” menu. Provided that you have placed the phone on top of the Euro note so that the phone’s main camera is facing the note at the front left bottom corner, where the Euro note's value is printed.
Light Source Detection: VisionHunt can identify sources of light such as lamps and open windows. Simply run the “Find Light” command from the left key menu and move the phone around so that its main camera is facing outwards. VisionHunt will play a high beep sound when a light source is in the camera’s view.

Please note that VisionHunt is not currently compatible (as of January 2010) with touch-enabled Symbian phones such as the Nokia 5800 and the N97.
