On-Screen Keyboard Programs provide an interactive keyboard image on your monitor screen. The user can then select the ‘on-screen keys’ by using a variety of interactive methods – including traditional or ergonomic mice, switches, touch-screen devices, trackballs, joysticks, or electronic pointing devices. On-Screen Keyboards often have a scanning option which sequentially scans the On-Screen Keyboard. An individual then activates a function once the scanned area reaches and includes the option/key they wish to select. these devices are ideal for individuals challenged with motor control issues.
