MonoMouse Video Magnifier
Similar in size and shape to a computer mouse, this simple video magnifier attaches directly to you TV or computer and enables you to read printed items such as bills, newspapers, magazines, books, recipes and instructions.
It comes in a choice of three models:
For use with a television
Standard version - with positive black and white image
RM version - with negative black and white image
USB version
for use on a computer
How to choose your MonoMouse
The MonoMouse comes in three varieties:
The MonoMouse Standard which displays a true black and white image on the display, so that white shows up as white, black shows up as black. This model has two levels of magnification.
The MonoMouse RM which displays positive black and white images as the MonoMouse Standard, and can be switched over to a negative black and white image, so that black is white and white shows as black. This model also has two levels of magnification.
The MonoMouse Standard and MonoMouse RM are for use alongside a television or monitor with a standard SCART connection, available on most domestic televisions in the UK.
The MonoMouse USB is for use alongside a computer and plugs into the USB port. It offers positive black and white images

How the MonoMouse Standard and MonoMouse RM work
Simply plug the MonoMouse Standard or MonoMouse RM into any regular television, connect the power and press the large blue button. Your television will change to the correct channel automatically. Hold the MonoMouse in your hand, just like a tennis ball or computer mouse, and whatever you move your hand over appears magnified on your television.
The MonoMouse RM allows you to switch between negative and positive modes.
To switch from the Reverse Mode (white text on black background) to regular mode, press the smaller round button near the cable one time.
To switch from the regular mode to Enhanced Mode (pure black text on pure white background), press the small round button again.
To switch back to Reverse Mode, press the small round button one last time.

How the MonoMouse USB works
Install the driver from the supplied CD the first time you use a MonoMouse-USB. Each time you use the magnifier, simply plug it in to a USB 2.0 port and click the application icon on your desktop. Hold the MonoMouse USB in your hand, just like a computer mouse, and whatever you move your mouse over appears magnified on your screen.
