This keyboard was developed in association with the RNIB to be suitable for those with low vision. It also helps those not familiar with keyboard layout to learn to type more easily. The large white or yellow print on black keys gives the highest contrast. The yellow-on-black version have three white keys which help by giving instant positioning reference. The colour combinations on the keyboard can also be very helpful to those with dyslexia.

Please bear in mind that the manufacturer of this keyboard does not provide any information about Mac compatibility. However, we have tested this keyboard on a 2006 vintage iBook G4 (PowerPC) laptop running OSX Tiger. Our findings were
Cmd, control and Apple keys: fine (the Windows key becomes the Apple key)
Cursor/arrow keys: fine
Long distance transport control (eg, Home, End): These do not work with this keyboard. There are Apple shortcuts such as Shift and Up-Arrow which achieve the same effect. Please check with your manual for equivalents.
