| Braille embossers transfer computer generated text into printed Braille output. Braille translation programs convert text scanned in or generated via standard word processing programs into Braille, which can be printed on the embosser. Because of the size of the "cells" that are used in place of letters, the amount of tex normally contained on one 8.5-by-11 inch sheet of paper results in multiple pages when printed in Braille. |
