Clearsounds AmpliDECT 250
These highly Amplified Digital Cordless Telephones come in stand alone base units, twin sets, and extra handsets for later additions to your home AmpliDECT 250 telephone system.
The AmpliDECT 250 cordless amplified phone will always require one base unit which is directly patched into both a telephone line as well as a mains power source. You should never have to purchase more than one base unit, unless your home is exceptionally large and the signal cannot reach other handsets. The AmpliDECT 250 has a limit of 5 extra handsets to one base unit.
The extra handsets are simply extra phones that you can place in your home and they plug directly into your mains electrical supply and they do not require direct telephone line socket connections – but they only work if the base unit is functioning as they work from the signal provided from the base unit.
A twin set is one base unit and one extra handset which offer you a price break. A twin set allows you to purchase both one base unit and one extra handset at a rate reduced £10 from the price if you were to purchase both a base unit and an extra handset separately.
Should a household require more than two amplified phones, you can always augment the presence of these phones by purchasing additional handsets.
